Antiche Danze ed Aria per Liuto, which means “Antique Dances and Wise Men for the Lute” is the title of four suites for orchestra, by the Italian composer Ottorino Respighi. Respighi used guitar and lute tablature from the 16th and 17th centuries for this music that then was edited by Oscar Chilesotti who formed a more neoclassical style and is one of the most popular works by the Italian.
