Gustav Holst – St. Paul’s Suite Gustav Holst composed the St. Pauls Suite out of gratitude for the St. Paul’s Girls ’School. Thereafter, he was able to study. He originally wrote this work for string orchestra, but later added wind parts so that more students could participate. Holst composed some works for his students, of which the St. Paul’s Suite is the most famous for.
