Biography Claudio Cavadini
Born in Ticino, Claudio Cavadini studied composition at the Accademia Filarmonica in Bologna where he also received an entry in the composer’s book of honor. He worked as an admin of unknown works of Italian composers from the 17th and 18th centuries. Moreover, he was a consultant for music lessons at the middle school of the Canton of Ticino and also worked as a teacher at the Pedagogical College of Locarno where he dealt intensively with music didactics. Cavadini was devoted to the study of unknown music. He created a variety of works for orchestra, chamber music, choral works, music and lyrics for music lessons including parts for wind band. Claudio Cavadini has been awarded numerous prizes throughout his musical career. FEBATI’s was one of his first prizes for his symphonic work as for the international competition “Roberto Galfetti Prize” for choral music.
