The extraordinary musical talent that was recognized at a very early age is the composer and pianist Heinz Studer. Born in Egerkingen in Solothurn in 1939, his mother Adeline intensively supported the young Heinz and enabled him to attend music lessons. After an apprenticeship at Kleider Frey in Wangen b. Olten, Studer devoted himself mainly to music and worked as a music teacher, pianist and an entertainment musician-composer. Heinz Studer describes himself as a “self-taught musician” and is still active as a pianist today.
